What they needed
Cavalry helped Ruth to develop her brand look and feel, as well as building a welcoming and effective new online home for her.
How the Cavalry helped
We began with what Ruth stands for rather than colours or fonts. The logo came from that, then the river theme, which runs through the imagery and the copy. I built the website around it, then added a fifteen-question quiz that helps visitors see where they are right now. Their answers place them in one of three groups: Foundations, Caught in the Rapids or Finding Your Flow. Each group gets its own tailored follow-up emails, so the quiz works as the start of an email marketing campaign as well as a page on the site.
Mission accomplished
Ruth finished the project proud of her website and more confident selling her services. She can now talk about herself and her business without second-guessing every word. The quiz gives her a friendly way to start conversations with potential clients, and a way to keep in touch with them afterwards.
Before working with Barney, I was half-hiding behind the door, unsure how to talk about what I do. Now? I'm excited to show people my website, and that excitement has given me a confidence I didn't have before. Getting my content right has had this knock-on effect - I can finally talk about myself and my business without second-guessing every word. I feel like I can actually put myself out there now.
