What they needed
Isaac wanted a website that reflected the scale of their work while staying true to who they are, built through a process that treated accessibility as central rather than an afterthought.
How the Cavalry helped
I started by working out how Isaac wanted the process itself to run (how we communicated, how sessions worked, what pace suited them) before any design. Then I structured twenty years of work into clear sections: their story, how to work together, the work in action and a blog. The design is bold and warm rather than corporate, with an accessibility statement built into the site.
Mission accomplished
A site that reflects the scale of Isaac’s work and still sounds like them. Visitors move from Isaac’s story to working together, backed by testimonials and a list of partner organisations. Isaac is keen to keep building on it.
Working with Barney and Cavalry has been an absolute joy, and I genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough.
As a disabled person, accessibility is incredibly important to me, and Barney made the whole process accessible, flexible and inclusive from the very beginning. He never made accessibility feel like an inconvenience or an afterthought, and I felt listened to, respected and properly involved throughout.
He has a brilliant ability to take a head full of ideas and turn them into something clear, creative and professional, while making sure the end result still feels authentically yours.
