What they needed
Aurore teaches French online, and her Wix Studio site had broken links, awkward navigation and teaching materials that only existed as photos on her phone. She wanted a site that worked properly and a way to share her resources with students.
How the Cavalry helped
I started by fixing the foundations: broken links, clearer navigation and a proper blog. I then worked on search visibility, including page titles and descriptions, and optimised her Google Business Profile for local search. Finally, I built a resource library in the CMS, with categories, levels and shortcut buttons, where students get free downloads in exchange for an email. I also gave Aurore a step-by-step guide and a ChatGPT project so she can create new resources in her own style.
Mission accomplished
Aurore has a site that works, a blog and a library of resources she says she loves the design of. She’s also my first international client.
